use old hard drives
I am building a new PC with all new parts except that I would like to use my old hard drives(2). Is there any problem doing this? Does the info on the drives such as the OS become lost or damaged? I would like very much to keep all the info on the drives intact including the OS. Please help. thanks every much. Tom

You were advised to read existing threads in this forum. One deals with the "ENUM" key, which applies to Windows 9x/ME - and the other addresses moving a Win 2000 hard drive, which also applies to Win XP. They are both sticky threads. I'm going to close this thread, please read the applicable threads and address any further questions in your original thread. Thank you!
