will this work??? oeminfo.ini
will this work? and with waht OS?
Custom Brand your PC This allows you to place any picture and text so that it will be displayed in the system control panel; without having to mess with the registry. There are two parts to this: Picture 1: Take any bitmap that's about 175x175 pixels in size. 2: Name it oemlogo.bmp 3: Copy it to the windowssystem32 folder Text 1: open notepad type the text below and add the text to be displayed after the "=" [General] Manufacturer= Model= [Support Information] Line1= Line2= Line3= (you can create more lines if you wish) 2: Now save as oeminfo.ini into the windowssystem32 directory. That's it. Now you have a custom branded pc. thanks |
