Hi, there-
A minor tip I need. How do you type a url address in an email and make it turn blue so someone can just click on it and not have to do the copy and paste routine? I just built my second computer from the case up but I do not know this trick. Kind of humbling! Thanks for your time. newomij |

Do they accept HTML formatted e-mails? You could try doing this:
What you want the link to be displayed as Example of the above link with formatting so it won't actually link. Change the []'s to <>'s. [a href="http://www.whateverthewebsiteis.com"]What you want the link to be displayed as[/a] [a href="http://www.google.com"]Google[/a] with the correct tags(<> instead of []) will show up as Google. Hope that works. Realize it isn't quite what ya wanted, but it's cooler in my opinion

I followed your example and on my computer in Word the address created a link in blue. When I went to Juno email and MSN email, neither site created a link following the example you gave me that worked in Word. Plus, I didn't quite understand use of < >'s instead of the [ ]'s to create a link that shows up with just the name of the site and not the entire url. I anyone can follow up on these questions, I will appreciate it. I love doing this kind of stuff. Something new to learn every day!!!

You will run into problems with long links that wrap though. |

When you say 'long links that wrap...', what do you mean 'wrap'?

If you have long links to put in an e-mail, use a link shortening service like http://tinyurl.com. It will take a long, ugly link and shorten it considerabily.
