tip of the week
I forwarded this tip of the week to all my freinds...........
Auto-End Tasks Faster Windows has a feature that will automatically close those "non-responsive" program files that you typically have to intervene with (CTRL + ALT +DELETE style). Go to Start -> Run -> REGEDT32 and find/select HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. (for those in Rio Linda…..you have to highlight “desktop” to see the AutoEndTasks category) Change the “AutoEndTasks” key from "0" to "1." Now, non-responsive programs will automatically be closed. then i was told by one of them that if there is a program that "hangs" for a bit that it would just close and wont be given the chance to continue to try to open......is that true? I told him that if a program is "hangin up" that means that it is still "responding" and wont close. any way I know you guys will straiten things out for me as you always do. Thanks Tre
