i recently upgraded my DSL speed from 512kbps to 5mbps/640kbps (down/up). and to no avail my online pings are still the same (300ms the worst to 130 the lowest). with that said there has been a definate noticable difference in web browsing speed. im runnin off a bridged connection with Z/A firewall and Avast AV. im still green to much of the PC world of information and im very eager to learn, so any advice or tweaking that wont mess my PC up entirely i would appreciate- thnx
*im still trying to find all my system info so i can mark that in my sig, but long time ago i got rid of my software that gave me all my specs... :P* |
