Quick Shutdown
Came across this shortcut-- Thought I'd share it in case some PCMecher's haven't heard of it.
To shutdown your computer without going to 'Start' and then clicking through the other prompts, do this: Create a new shortcut, in the command line type: C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL.32EXE User,ExitWindows This will shutdown Windows without prompts. |

I actually use something very similar to shedule a reboot.
C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL32.EXE shell32.dll,SHExitWindowsEx 0x2 As part of my nightly scheduled maintenance tasks, the last thing done is a reboot so first thing in the morning the computer is freshly booted.

In the first shortcut, the dot goes after 32, not before. It should read:
C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL32.EXE User,ExitWindows
