large harddrives
With 40 gig harddrives around $100.00 now, I just thought I would remind everyone that Windows95 does not support drives larger than 32 gig in any version. See http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q246/8/18.ASP
Also computers that run windows 98 and have a Phoenix bios might have some trouble with Scandisk with a hd larger than 32 gigs even in Windows 98. See http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q243/4/50.ASP So before you run out and buy that larger hd make sure your operating system supports it. Even if it does you may need a bios upgrade for your motherboard before the computer can recognize larger harddrives.
