How to remove windows vista beta 2 from boot loader when dual booting with another OS

Note : All systems must have .NET 2.0 Framework

Note: If you are unable to boot into vista for any reason and want the vista boot loader
gone but are still able to boot into Windows XP this program will still get rid of the
Windows Vista beta 2 boot loader

This program might remove the boot loader from the other versions of vista I have not tried this program with the other versions of Vista. But it works with Vista Beta 2 for sure

1. Boot into the OS of your choice Windows 2k, 2k Server, XP, 2003 Server, Vista,
or Longhorn Server.

1. Download Vista Boot Pro http://www.pro-networks.org/vistabootpro/

2. Then after it has downloaded run the program and click on change settings

3. Under Advanced Options where it says Select an OS to modify click the arrow to the
right and select Microsoft Windows.

Note: Microsoft Windows is Windows vista beta 2 and Earlier version of Windows is
Windows XP

4. Then Click Delete Vista Boot Loader! Then a Warning box will come up asking if you
are sure you want to delete the Windows vista boot loader from your system if you are
sure click yes. Only click yes if you plan on not booting vista again.

5. Then restart the computer and the boot loader for Windows Vista beta 2 will be gone.

Credit for this program goes to: ProNetworks

I guess this is along the lines of this. I had installed XP Pro on my hardrive along time ago. I then installed XP home "a ligit copy reason being". It installed over it but I still have the choice to select either Windows in the boot directory that pops up at start. I set it to automaticly load after a 0 seconds but is there a way to take that out of the menu as this program vistabootpro does?

That's easy - control panel, system, advanced, startup and recovery - choose the default OS and uncheck the box for showing the boot menu.

Hey thanks. Funny thing, that's where I went to change the time displayed. I guess I didn't pay much very attention to it. Somedays I tell yeah!
