System Properties box manipulation?
I remember reading somewhere about how to change some of the stuff displayed in the System Properties dialogue box but I can't seem to find it now. I'd like to change some of the text (Like the processor type) and put a custom logo in that box. Anyone got the know-how? Thanks.

Create picture size 150x 113 pixel and name that file OEMLOGO.BMP
Create with notepad file and name that file OEMINFO.INI Put both files in C:\Windows\System dir OEMINFO.INI should have lines: [General] Manufacturer=Tiretool Model=Celeron 400 @ 500MHz [Support Information] Line1=Fix Yourself Line2= Line3=With The Help Of PC Mechanic Line4= Write there whatever you want to

It's reading my Slot 1 PIII as a PII. Is there a registry hack to remedy this?

I'm not sure but I thought I tried this once with my K6-3 but kept changing back to the default. So I don't think's possible, but I'm not 100 percent sure.
