WinXP and Ram Issues
For all those who have problems in setting up WinXP - with errors like stated below..
When booting From CDROM and then you get the error can't copy this files or that file or this has been corrupted like can't copy file from\i386 folder - then 1.Check that your cdrom is working proper 2.Check that your WinXp cdrom hasn't any scratches and is clean and that it can be read without problems 3.If this doesn't help then boot into the BIOS and REDUCE RAM SPEED to the lowest there possible - say 100Mhz - if it installs then exchange RAM... This has happen to quite a many people by now and in 60% of all I cases I saw it was actaully RAM which failed to make the speed...

That's kinda what I thought when I answered in a different thread as I have run across this numerous times with Win98 and WinME installs.
