EXCEL formula
I am having trouble trying to do something in excel and I can not remember how to do this. I am to busy to read up and was wondering if someone can help me or refresh my memory since I do not use the program any more. It's for the my church.
I am trying to link a cell into the other sheets. For example. Each member has an individual sheet for recording their tithes and offerings. There is also a service report sheet that records the tithes and offerings collected on the days of church service. The accountant enters the totals in cells on the service report but wants the number to jump into the individuals sheet at the same time or automatically. thanks in advance |

Simple example: Sheet two has a total for a member.
On sheet one - where you want the total to appear you hit the + (plus) key -> then you drill down to the total on sheet two and hit the enter key... On sheet one you'll end up with a formula that looks like: =+Sheet2!A6

Or if you just want the same number to appear, leave off the '+', as in =Sheet2!A6
