How to enable compatibility mode in Windows 2000 SP2

At a command prompt, as an administrator, type:

regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll

After this, right-click on any shortcut, and you will have a compatibility tab, which will allow you to run the program under Win95,98,or NT4 compatibility mode.

This is NOT recommended for programs that do low-level disk access, but for games and apps, this often proves to be quite effective. I've gotten win95 games to run, using this, that would crash at certain parts if run normally.
