Unhappy Tips on faster loading site

I can't tell from my pc if my main page is actually taking a long time to load. It does for me. I have optimized the script, and the graphics, which are small to begin with, but something on this page is holding things up. Nothing appears and the Wham! the complete page is in focus. Please of please take a look, maybe you see something in the coding that needs changes.
thanks in advance,
jhona

Jhona,
Your page loads just fine on my slow 56K dial-up. Pretty slick script also, if I may say so.

Slow loader

Thanks for checking. I am so pleased that the slowness is due to my overburdened PC. And thanks for the compliment, worked hard on that page. Added a new page with some great downloads from my site:
