Disabling "auto play for audio CD's" in Windows 2000

I've been using CDex to rip all my CD's to MP3. For some reason, if I forgot to hold down shift when inserting the CD and Winamp loaded the CD, my burner would disappear from the pulldown list in CDex, and I would have to restart my computer to get it back. I searched for how to disable auto insert, but I wanted to do it only on my burner, not on all my CD drives. I don't think that is possible, the only way to disable it is with a registry setting, and it appears to be global. Anyway, I got to thinking about it, and remembered seeing auto insert settings in CloneCD. So I checked, and was able to disable "autoplay for audio CD's" through CloneCD. This is a global setting too, but at least it only applies to audio CD's, and I don't have to restart my computer now because I forgot to hold down shift when loading a CD to rip!
