floppy config in cmos
I don't know if this will help anyone or not but yesterday I had a computer that would post but not boot. It hung at updating dmpi. I went into the cmos and changed the floppy controller from auto to enabled and it is now booting.

Hmmm... I have 3 old QDI LX boards that do just that, I'll throw them on my bench and give it a try!
