Keyboard and mouse shortcuts
Here are some shortcuts that can make your experience at the computer an easier one:
With the Windows key: Win Key+E = Opens Windows Explorer Win Key+D = Minimizes everything and shows the desktop Win Key+R = Opens Run dialogbox Win Key+Pause = Shows System Properties Win Key+M = Same as Win Key+D (but for fome strange reason Winamp doesn't minimize using this shortcut, it does with the WinKey+D though). With the mouse wheel in IE: Shift+MW up = takes you forward to the previous web page you've browsed Shift+MW down = takes you back to the previous web page you've browsed Ctrl+MW up = reduces font size Ctrl+MW down = enlarges font size With the keyboard in IE: Alt+left arrow = takes you back to the previous web page you've browsed Alt+right arrow = takes you forward to the previous web page you've browsed Just some shortcuts. If you have discovered more, plz post them.

F3 displays the Search/Find even if you don't have the WinKey pressed.

Ctrl-Alt-Del (twice) followed by pressing the Reset Button = Loss of all working data and audible profanities.

I think that it doesn't work in IE 6. You must use Ctrl+U instead.

Then it must be a language related thing. Coz Ctrl+N in my IE 6 does nothing. And yep, Ctrl+U opens a new window.

Open IE, go to File > New > Window, now check what is written beside "Window", isn't it "Ctrl + N"?

Hope I didn't miss these above, but two of my most often used short cuts are:
WinKey + Pause = Brings up System Info F5 = refresh, like in Windows Explorer to refresh files listed, or on the desktop to refresh Icons. TwoRails |

A similar thing happens in word, where you use Ctrl+A to select all (english version), and I use Ctrl+E to do the same (spanish version). |

D'oh!

Ctrl+N, Then Alt, Then V, Then B in Winxp opens a new browser, with the Status bar. Otherwise, the browser will open w/ no Status bar...In Win 9x,Me Ctrl+N opens the browser with the bar there already.
