Trick for cheap hardware and software

I recently built my first PC, in my research I found that Staples is the best place to buy most PC parts or software. Here is the trick:Staples policy is to match and beat any item by 10% (even if it is a wholsale or discount website). The parts have to match and be identical butit is well worth the research. For example: I got 512 mb of DDR Ram for $57, a 60 GB 7200 rpm Maxtor hard drive for $23, 400 w Antec power supply $33, Artec 56x CDROM $11. These are just some of the sweet deals I found. Another site which I found to be very reliable and helpful for Processors or mboards is googlegear.com (they always have free or 50 cents 2 day fedex delivery). Sometimes the managers of Staples hate to beat internet prices, but that is there policy and they honor it everytime. After this experience, I am so hooked on building PC's, hopefully some of you can benefit from this trick. Good luck.

And all this time I've got a Staples store just down the street. Some of those prices even beat my wholesaler's!

Nemises,
Yes, thats exactly what I do. Go to staples.com first, find what you want (the selection is ok, they don't have cpu's or mboards). Then search for it on the net and print out that add and bring it in to staples.
happy hunting

Yes, their prices on quality hardware are not great and their low priced stuff is junk - lots of PC Chips.

Their resellerratings.com rating is around 5 on a scale of 10 - this is not good considering Newegg is in the high 9's.

Hmm.. I should try that little trick for staples. I did Circuit city's price match plus on a digi cam. THey were pretty mad because they had to refund me a lot of money - probably their profit margin on a site that I would never buy something from, but I had the ad for it. Oh well.

Awesome. Does staples carry monitors?

EDIT/

Crud. Never mind. We don't have a Staples here. Just Office Depot. What a rip.

rman...
Lets say the Logitech MX700 mouse is for 80 $ @ staples.com
and i found it ! newegg.com for around 64 $..so after the 110 %..I should be able to buy the mouse for 58 $ ?

if so, would I need to print out the image or what?
