ok i was going to post on how to change the boot screen , but I was going to make sure nobody knew so i wouldn't get flamed for it...lol

its pretty easy....open paint or pspro and get the pic you want,
resize it to320x400. Find the file logo.sys...it might be underc:\ or system depending on the os. Search files and folders is faster. then rename it logo.old.sys then save your new pic as logo.sys under the c:\. And thats it ...you got a new boot screen,instead of having to look at windows all the time. |

Yep - unfortunately I don't think that works with Win2K or XP.

LoL, damn it! Will nothing work with Win Xp??
Corner Screensaver trick..wont work on xp. this wont work on xp there are only like 3 fun tricks to do on win xp...though I suppose 3 is better than none. Thanks for the tip though...I do all these little tricks on my friends 98 system...haha, he always thinks Im gonna blow it up or something

to change the boot screen in XP you can use a freeware program from Lockergnome called X Tec setup . It has wizards to walk you through almost any tweak for XP and earlier OS's as well
