I’ve found it is more or less required to have QuickTime Pro for easy exporting of HD video. You can buy QuickTime for $29.99 at www.quicktime.com. Granted, you don’t have to do it, but I’ve found it’s the easiest and the HD files are smallest while still retaining the best quality.
