Add/Remove Components In Windows 7

It takes a few more clicks to find where the Add/Remove is for Windows 7 components, but once located it’s really easy to use.

    Help!

    I “lost” my ability to search using Windows 7. I did go to Add/Remove Programs, but the box to click for searching was not there.

    Do you have a solution to this problem or know of a freeware program that will provide the same functionality?

    Start

    Control Panel

    Appearance and Personalization

    Customize the Start menu (under Taskbar and Start Menu)

    From window that appears, click Start Menu tab

    Click Customize button

    Scroll down to “Search programs and Control Panel”, check the box.

    Click OK.
