Fix Stuck LCD Pixels With Software

Something that will really ruin your day is when you get a “stuck” pixel on your LCD computer monitor. It is usually colored bright red and it very irritating to say the least.

There are many write-ups on the internet for how to fix this, but one of the more effective ways is by strategically placing a rapid-color animated box over it. This could in effect fix the problem in 30 minutes or less.

One such site for this is JScreenFix. There is both a free and paid version of this, but the free version should at least make that stuck pixel less bright (hey, it’s better than nothing). Or if lucky it might eliminate it completely.

The difference between the free and paid versions is that you can automate the paid version so that it can auto-detect stuck pixels and fix them on its own.

Note that software like this is never guaranteed to work. It’s always a hit-or-miss thing. However it is worth a try and will not damage your monitor whatsoever.
