If you use Firefox, you’ve probably installed a few add-ons from time to time.
Something that is very annoying about installing an add-on is the forced two-second delay whenever you want to install one.
Fortunately, this is easily removed with a very quick edit in about:config.
Here’s how it’s done:
1. Type about:config in your address bar in press Enter.
2. Next to filter, type delay and press Enter.
3. Look for the entry security.dialog_enable_delay. This will be set to 2000. Double-click that and change to 0.
When finished, you should see something like this:
..and that’s all there is to it. No more ridiculous two-second delay on install of any add-on.
