How To Create Dazzling High Quality Wallpapers Easily

Is there a way to create super-cool looking ultra-high-quality unique computer wallpaper – even with absolutely no artistic skills – simply by the click of a button?

As a matter of fact, there is.

A free software title, Apophysis, will allow you to do it. Here’s how:

First, download Apophysis using the above link.

Second, launch the program. To note: You may encounter a nastygram message on first run that states certain DLL files are not plugins. Ignore this error and continue.

Pick a random pattern from the left:

If you want other choices besides what’s on the left, click Variation then Built-in from the top toolbar.

For more customization of color, press F5 to bring up the Adjust window, then click the Gradient tab and you’ll have a whole bunch of color choices that work well with each other, like this:

When you’re satisfied with what you have, click (from the top toolbar) Flame and then Render to Disk.

Uncheck Maintain aspect ratio and set the output to your monitor’s native resolution, like this:

After that, click the small folder icon on the right and choose the save type as JPG, like this:

You can name the file whatever you wish.

At the bottom of this same window, click Render.

It will take roughly 1 to 2 minutes for the render to complete. The larger you set the output resolution, the longer it will take.

This is what you’ll see when Apophysis is rendering:

When finished, you will have an absolutely gorgeous dazzling wallpaper image, like this:

Click the above image for full size.

Tips:

If you want to change the background color, press F5 for the Adjust window, then click the Rendering tab. You’ll see the background color choice there at the bottom left, like this:

Simply click the color to change it.

On the Render screen (the last screen before you render the file) you’ll notice the default quality setting is 200. Setting it any higher than this usually doesn’t do much for the final image, save for the fact it takes a lot longer to render.
