Needless to say, there are many people looking for jobs these days. The typical ways of doing that, though, are job listings, classified ads, and peppering the world with resumes and hoping.
Using the Internet (and perhaps a little “outside the box” thinking), there are ways to make finding your next job much easier (and more successful).
The old-fashioned job search depends exclusively on resumes. Resumes don’t have nearly the impact they used to. Most people exaggerate on their resumes to make themselves look like a big deal – and recruiters know this. Secondly, people in an HR position typically have PILES of resumes. If one of those resumes is your’s, how do you expect to stand out form the pack?
