In the following two videos below, you’ll see an advanced tutorial on how to create GIF animations. They are easy to create once you know the process, however bear in mind they take a significant amount of time to make. If you plan on making one of your own, it’s not exactly a five-minute thing. 
Regardless of that however it is good to know you can make real animations in GIMP, and this is good information to know if you ever wanted to try your hand at it.
Both videos below have an HD option. After playback starts, click the “360″, change to “720″ and click the four-arrow button next to that for full-screen in HD quality.
